Colorado State University Trials

Each year, CSU trials over 1,000 different cultivars of annual bedding plants. Varieties are evaluated for plant vigor, uniformity, floriferousness and tolerance to environmental and biotic stresses. The Annual Trial entries are judged in early August by select horticulture students, faculty, and industry representatives. Highlights include Interspecific Geraniums Moxie, Calliope Medium, Calliope Large, and Caliente, as well as Petunias Dekko Banana and Shortcake Blueberry.
