The Raker-Roberta's Trial Gardens compares a wide range of perennials, container vegetables, and annuals. The trial has a diverse range of garden scenarios such as containers, shade, and hanging baskets area — each of which highlights a curated selection of genera for comparison. Each year, more than 1,500 visitors visit the trial to screen and evaluate varieties for the key Midwest market. The Raker-Roberta's in-house research and development department conducts rigorous evaluations of these varieties to optimize their portfolio.
