Colorado State University Trials

Each year, CSU trials over 1,000 different cultivars of annual bedding plants. Varieties are evaluated for plant vigor, uniformity, floriferousness and tolerance to environmental and biotic stresses. The Annual Trial entries are judged in early August by select horticulture students, faculty, and industry representatives.
